Attorney Fatjon Cake appeared on local station WMBF for their broadcast series titled “Legal Access” on November 3, 2022 at 12:30pm. The segment topic of the day discussed HOA Law and viewers were given the opportunity to call in to the live program with their questions.
The panel of legal advisors – presented by the show’s host Dave Priest – included Attorney Mark A. Nappier of Joye, Nappier, Risher, & Hardin, LLC, Attorney Ian D. Maguire of the Maguire Law Firm, and Attorney Fatjon Cake of The Floyd Law Firm, PC. Topics discussed included call-in questions about water damage, foreclosed properties with liens, covenants, and more.
Fatjon added that communication is often the most important and overlooked facet concerning HOA Law and the roles of the community associations and their resident members. Having an open mind and understanding the needs of all parties involved in any dispute is imperative for successful resolutions to issues that may arise.
