The Floyd Law Firm is pleased to officially welcome Attorney Jeff B. Parker to our legal team. Having joined the firm at the end of May 2026, Jeff brings a unique combination of legal knowledge, educational experience, and a genuine passion for serving others. We are excited to have him as part of our firm and look forward to the many ways he will serve our clients and community.
Jeff is a graduate of the Charleston School of Law, where his dedication and work ethic were evident from the beginning. While balancing the demands of law school with family life as a husband and father of three young children, he graduated a semester early and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in both Criminal Prosecution Clinic and Psychology and the Law.
Before becoming an attorney, Jeff spent more than a decade as an English teacher, earning recognition for his commitment to education, mentorship, and helping students succeed. He holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Coastal Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Jeff attended Presbyterian College before transferring to USC Upstate to complete his undergraduate education.
Jeff’s transition from the classroom to the courtroom reflects his lifelong commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges. His background in education strengthened his communication, research, writing, and negotiation skills — qualities that now benefit his clients every day. His ability to listen carefully, explain complex legal issues, and advocate thoughtfully makes him a trusted advisor for individuals and families facing difficult legal matters.
Jeff’s practice focuses on Family Law, Civil Litigation, Business & Corporate Law, and Contract Law. He is committed to providing compassionate, professional representation while working diligently to achieve practical solutions for his clients.
Outside the office, Jeff remains deeply committed to his family and community. He and his wife are raising three children and stay actively involved in youth sports and competition dance. Jeff also coaches his son’s flag football team and serves as a Volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy, helping advocate for the best interests of children involved in the court system.
Jeff is admitted to practice law in South Carolina and is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, Horry County Bar Association, and the Horry County Family Court Bar Association.
