Driving while intoxicated leads to motor vehicle accidents

Unfortunately, driving while under the influence of alcohol continues to be a very real problem in South Carolina. It is common knowledge that getting behind the wheel while intoxicated is one of the most dangerous things a person can do. Despite increased public awareness and efforts by police forces across the country to combat this problem, drunk driving continues to be one of the leading causes of motor vehicle accidents in America.

Tools left lying on the floor can cause slip-and-fall accidents

Customers should not have to fear for their safety when they visit stores, restaurants and other public places. Laws have been established in the state of South Carolina for the protection of those who visit business and public properties. These premises liability laws say property and business owners must provide a safe, hazard-free environment for all lawful visitors. Far too often in stores across the country, tools and other foreign objects from remodeling projects or routine maintenance are left lying on the floor. These can turn into dangerous hazards with the potential to cause slip-and-fall accidents.

In South Carolina, deadly motor vehicle accidents are on the rise

Drivers these days face an abundance of dangers. In the United States, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death for those under 50 years of age. A recent crash involving three vehicles claimed the life of one person in Richland County, South Carolina. The accident occurred during the afternoon hours at a popular intersection.
